April 2026 Scripture Writing Plan–Walking in Wisdom
In this post: Read and write Bible verses about walking in wisdom and a mom and a woman of God. Let these 31 Bible verses encourage and strengthen your heart!
Life is full of decisions.
Some are small — what to say in a tense moment, how to respond to our children, how to spend our time on an ordinary Tuesday.
Others feel much bigger — choices about our families, our homes, our priorities, and the direction we’re walking.
In moments like these, we often find ourselves praying a simple but powerful prayer:
“Lord, give me wisdom.”

This Scripture writing plan is designed to help you slow down and fill your heart with God’s wisdom through His Word.
Because true wisdom isn’t something we manufacture on our own.
It’s something God graciously gives to those who seek Him.

Scripture Writing Plan: Walking in Wisdom
Throughout the Bible, wisdom is described as one of the greatest gifts God offers His people.
In fact, Proverbs tells us that wisdom is more valuable than silver or gold. But biblical wisdom isn’t just knowledge. It’s learning how to live in a way that honors God.
James 1:5 (KJV) gives us a beautiful promise:
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
God doesn’t withhold wisdom from us.
He invites us to ask.
And when we seek Him through Scripture, prayer, and obedience, He gently shapes our hearts and teaches us how to walk in wisdom each day.
Sometimes that wisdom shows up in quiet ways:
- Choosing patience instead of frustration.
- Speaking kindly instead of sharply.
- Trusting God instead of worrying about tomorrow.
Walking in wisdom doesn’t mean we always have the perfect answer.
It means we’re learning to walk closely with the One who does.

Bible Verses About Wisdom
This Scripture writing plan focuses on verses that teach us what godly wisdom looks like and how we can grow in it.
Each day’s passage reminds us that wisdom begins with a reverent relationship with God.
Some of the verses included in this plan are:
- Proverbs 3:5–6
- James 1:5
- Proverbs 9:10
- Colossians 3:16
- Ephesians 5:15–16
…and many more Scriptures that point us toward wise and faithful living.
As you write each verse, take a few quiet moments to reflect.
Ask the Lord to guide your thoughts, your words, and your decisions.
Wisdom grows slowly — one step of obedience at a time.
