What Does the Bible Say About Being Thankful?
The Bible talks about being thankful a lot!
In fact, 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says:
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
That means we can thank God not only when life is easy, but also when it’s hard. Even King David gave thanks when he was running from his enemies!
Being thankful helps us focus on God’s goodness instead of our problems. It fills our hearts with joy and reminds us that He never forgets us.
