3 Christian Valentine’s Bible Lessons for Kids
Valentine’s Day is such a fun day for kids! Even if mom hates all the chocolate and candy, no one can deny that it’s a lot of fun to spend a whole day (or longer) talking about love.
There are many things to discuss with our kids on Valentine’s Day. Of course, we can talk about God’s love for us, a parent’s love for their children, and even sibling love or friendship.

Valentine’s Day Lessons
One of my favorite memories of my sons when they were little happened on Valentine’s Day. My husband brought home a little box of candy with three little chocolates.
His little boy voice asked me, “What is Valentine’s Day?”
I explained to him that Valentine’s Day is a day that we give treats to special people because we love them. He paused for just a second.
Then, he reached into his little box and gave me one of his chocolates. It melted my mama heart.
My little guy was only four or five at the time, but he could understand love. And I was thrilled to be his first Valentine. (I don’t want to think about the day he’ll have a different one!)
It’s a reminder that God’s love is real, and we can share it with our kids–even the little ones.
