Easter is right around the corner, so now is a great time to start sharing the true meaning of Easter with your kiddos! Easter is one of the most important celebrations in our Christian faith. It’s an amazing time to start sharing faith with our kids, reminding them that Easter is about so much more than bunnies and eggs. Today, I’m sharing some favorite Christian Easter activities for kids that will share the Easter story in a meaningful way.

This fun list includes Christian Easter crafts, free printables, and yummy Easter recipes. There’s something here for kids of all ages, and even for mom and dad!

I love the Easter season for so many reasons. It is the beginning of spring and a reminder that winter does not last forever. Easter is a time for new life, new beginnings, and a beautiful picture of God’s love.

I don’t buy a lot of new clothes for myself, but I always buy a new Easter outfit! And the Southern mama in me tries to get matchy-matchy with my boys and husband on Easter Sunday. They’re so not into it, but they humor me!

While I love the pretty colors, Easter lilies, and a great ham for lunch (yum!), I want Easter to mean so much more for my kids. Holy Week and Easter activities are a great way to encourage your kids to understand that Easter is all about the resurrection of Jesus, and not all about Easter bunnies.

How to Make Easter More About Jesus for Kids

Easter is a fun and exciting time for kids, but it’s important to make sure they understand the true meaning behind this holiday. As Christian mamas, we want to instill in our children the significance of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

One way to do this is by incorporating Christian Easter activities for kids into your home or homeschool. Christ-centered Easter activities are a great way to encourage your kids to ask questions so that they can understand the resurrection story for themselves.

You never know what Easter ideas will inspire them to start asking questions. They’ll be building faith in Jesus without even realizing it! Make these lasting memories as you talk about Jesus this Easter season.

How to Explain Christian Easter to Kids

Explaining Christian Easter to kids should be a rewarding and exciting experience for both parents and children alike. While Easter is typically associated with Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies, and pastel colors, there’s so much more to the holiday.

Start by telling your kids the story of Jesus, and how He died on the cross for our sins. Engage them with interactive activities such as religious Easter crafts, songs about Jesus, and other creative ideas. Encourage your kids to ask questions and don’t be afraid to have a conversation with them.

By taking the time to explain the true meaning of Easter, you’ll not only educate your children but also instill within them a sense of hope and love that they can carry with them throughout their lives.

Jesus is the Best Part of Easter

Easter traditions are something that many of us grew up with. We have memories of Easter egg hunts, baskets filled with treats, and a big meal with loved ones. But there is a real reason why we celebrate Easter, and that is the Bible story about Jesus’ resurrection.

It’s the best thing about this holiday, and it’s something we want to share with our kiddos. Jesus is what Easter is all about, and by telling the story and teaching our children about His love, we are passing down a tradition that truly matters.

So yes, we’ll still have our fun Easter activities, but we’ll also make sure our kids know that Jesus is the best part of it all. Grab the glue sticks and glitter, prep the paints, and warm up your singing voices.

Easter is not just a season; it’s a promise kept–and an assurance that God will always keep His promises. And with these activities, may your hearts be filled with the everlasting hope and peace that the Resurrection Story brings to our lives. Happy Easter!
