June 2026 Scripture Writing Plan: Peace in Your Soul
In this post: These encouraging Bible verses will help you find peace and rest in your soul. Read and write these verses using the free printable Scripture writing plan.
Life can be so chaotic, and sometimes it’s easy to get really overwhelmed. I am a homeschooling mom to two boys, work from home, and participate in ministries at my church. That’s in addition to taking care of my home and trying to have a happy marriage.
Your life probably looks different from mine, but it’s probably just as crazy! Our society thrives on busyness. We’re told that we need to constantly be doing something. Or, more often, doing everything.
You’ve probably been given a list of things you should be doing. And maybe you’re trying to do it all.

If you’re like me, you know this kind of life leads to burnout and discouragement.
But God’s way is different. He offers us peace and rest, even in the middle of chaos. Not through finding less to do, but in doing it through His strength instead of our own.
Scripture Writing Plan: Peace in Your Soul
This month, our Scripture focus is Peace in Your Soul. These encouraging Bible verses will offer you the peace of God. It’s so much deeper than anything the world offers.
Our theme verses this month are:
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
These verses don’t tell us that life comes without burdens. They tell us the opposite.
Jesus knows that we do have burdens. They are heavy.
But He tells us we don’t have to carry them alone. In fact, we can give them to Him. He gives us rest, and His lighter burden.
Sounds like a good exchange, right?
Bible Verses About Peace
This month’s plan includes Bible verses about peace, rest, and abiding in Christ.
Each day’s verse will guide you back to Jesus when you’re feeling tired, stretched thin, and longing for peace that goes deeper than circumstances.
Some of the verses in this plan include:
- Matthew 11:28-30
- Psalm 23:1-3
- Isaiah 26:3
- John 14:27
- Psalm 46:10
- Exodus 33:14
…and many more verses that encourage you to find rest and peace in Jesus when life gets tough.
As you read and write these verses, ask the Lord to help you rest in Him, even when your physical rest is lacking. And as moms, we know that’s most of the time!
