Free Printable Kids Daily Routine Checklist
Why does it seem like we tell our kids to do the same things every day, but they’re always surprised? Yes, you have to brush your teeth. Again. Kids need a daily routine, and having a checklist can help!
To help my kids remember the things they have to do every day, I made these Daily Routine Checklists. Now, they can see at a glance what they have done, and what they need to do.
It’s also a really great way for kids to earn screen time. I included a place at the bottom of the sheets to give a reward if you need some extra motivation.
I have a morning routine that I use to start my day right. It makes sense that it would help kids, too.
Using a checklist like this is also a great way to teach kids about organization and getting stuff done.
I made a couple different versions of the list, so you can use whichever one best applies to you. There’s one for fans of outer space (like my boys!) and one for those who might like some stars and rainbows (which my boys would never touch!).
One of the lists has a few ideas for things I think most kids do every day, and the other one is blank so you can fill it in yourself.
How to use the Kids Daily Routine Checklist
I tried to make the lists colorful, but not so colorful that you won’t want to print them out on your home printer. (Who has that much ink, anyways?)
You could easily print one out at the beginning of each week. But when it comes to checklists that I use over and over, I like to laminate them.
If you don’t want to invest in a laminator, I love these sheets, that you can simple stick to paper without needing the heat. They work great for simple projects like this.
However you use it, I hope you love the Kids Daily Routine Checklist, and it saves you from that question, “I have to get dressed now?”
I hope you find these lists helpful! If you love them, please hit share on this post and tell your friends.
